ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
Emerging Wellness is committed to providing a website that is accessible, inclusive, and welcoming to all visitors. Accessibility is an ongoing process, and we strive to create an online space that reflects the same care, respect, and intention found in our therapeutic work.

We aim to make this website usable for people with a wide range of abilities and experiences, including individuals who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, voice recognition software, or alternative input devices.
What web accessibility is
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.
Accessibility adjustments on this site
Emerging Wellness has taken steps to make this website accessible in alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, aiming to meet Level AA standards. The site has been designed to support use with assistive technologies, including screen readers and keyboard navigation. As part of our accessibility efforts, we have:
-
Used Wix’s Accessibility Wizard to identify and address potential accessibility issues
-
Set the primary language of the site
-
Structured content in a clear, logical reading order
-
Applied consistent and meaningful heading structures across all pages
-
Added alternative text to images where appropriate
-
Selected color combinations that meet recommended contrast guidelines
-
Reduced the use of motion and animation where possible
-
Made reasonable efforts to ensure videos, audio, and downloadable files are accessible

Accessibility is an ongoing process, and we continue to review and improve the site to support a wide range of access needs.
Accessibility arrangements in the practice
Emerging Wellness provides therapy services exclusively via telehealth and does not operate a physical office location open to the public.
Offering services online allows clients to access therapy from environments that best support their comfort, safety, and accessibility needs. Telehealth may reduce barriers related to transportation, mobility, sensory sensitivities, or health limitations.
If you have specific accessibility needs related to telehealth services, you are encouraged to reach out prior to scheduling. Reasonable accommodations will be discussed whenever possible to support access to care
